Completing your Payment

Some organisations may require you to pay for you verification using Credas. In these cases, this support article contains step by step instructions on completing your payment - we also recommend reading our Payment FAQs here as well. If you encounter any difficulties with your payment, please reach out to our support team at payments@credas.com or call us on 02920 102 555.

  • To complete your payment, you will firstly have to register with Credas by either using the Credas App (recommended) or our website -My Connect. You will need your 6-digit unique registration code that you will find in your email or text invitation. If you have not yet received this code, or the code is no longer working, please reach out to the organisation who send the verification as they manage the codes.
  • Next, we recommend getting your documents ready, if you have not already done so. When yous start your verification, you will be presented with the documents needed for the process before you start the payment.
  • After this, you will then need to enter your payment details, you will be able to pay using all major credit and debit cards and Google/Apple pay, if applicable. Please ensure you have entered your payment and billing information correctly. Once you are ready, press pay.

  • If your payment has been successful, you will receive a confirmation on your screen, and a receipt will be sent to your email. You will then be able to continue with your Credas verification (please see information below).
  • If your payment has been unsuccessful, you will see a message straight away (e.g., incorrect details, declined and insufficient funds). In this case:
    • Double check your card details
    • Try again or use another card
  • If you still experiencing issues, please contact our support team using the information at the top of this support article.

Once you have completed your payment, you will be then be required to start your verification. This will likely include:

  • Filling in personal details such as your name, DOB and address;
  • Taking a photograph of your Identity Document (click here for help);
  • If you have chosen to verify your passport using the Credas App, you will then be asked to scan the e-chip within the passport using NFC technology (click here for help);
  • You will then be required to take a liveness selfie - think of this as a passport style photograph (click here for help);
  • You may asked to submit further documentation such as a proof of address document (click here for help).

Once you have finished the tasks assigned to you, your verification will then be sent to the organisation who requested them and you will not be able to go back into your tasks, unless the organisation requests you re-attempt any of the tasks. Please reach out to the organisation if you would like any updates on the progress of your verification.
